The Scherer Family: Looking For Nature

A couple weeks ago, we took advantage of the cool summer morning and ventured out to meet Gram and cousins Jake and Tyler at Holiday Park. These guys crack me up whenever they're together. After we played on the playground for a while, we decided to walk around the park. Jake excitedly exclaims that he's "looking for nature!" and bounds off as if he's in pursuit of a long lost treasure. Gavin quickly caught on to this idea and the boys investigated every nook and cranny on the mini-hike waiting for "nature" to present herself. Gavin began collecting "nature" in his pockets (leaves, rocks, dirt...) I love watching their wild imaginations lead them off to Never-Never Land. All in all, the kiddos played well together and we all tired out after lunch and shinanigans at Gram's house.
