A couple months ago, Gavin brought home some work from school and I commented on how nicely he'd written his name at the bottom of the paper. He said, "Thank you. Lauren did it. She sat next to me, so I just got her to do it for me." He was so proud of his cleverness and ability to find a creative way to make a difficult task easier.
So, we've been working very hard at home and Gavin has been practicing writing his name. One evening, Gavin shows up at the table, ready to write with his hard hat on. He's been very proud of how much his writing has improved - even without Lauren's help!
