CONGRATULATIONS GAVIN !
You're officially on the road to becoming a literate American.
Tonight, Gavin read a story all by himself. "Go! Go! Go!," was the first story in this collection of Dick and Jane books, and with a little coaxing to "sound it out...," he read all three pages. It was so very sweet to see the pride and excitement in his eyes. All that hard work learning letter recognition and sounds is paying off. A little practice and patience and he will soon be reading bedtime stories to us. Yeah Gavin! ! !
